Dotting my tease and crossing my eyes

In my last post, quod vide (that's Latin, baby!) I stretched my vocabulary beyond the usual grunts so I made use of Blogger's built-in spell checker. Am I wrong to feel that this utility should already be familiar with words such as blog and sidebar? And why is it suggesting I replace Technorati with degenerating?
